Ansar Allah Mujahideen Claim Major Victory, Enter Strategic Port of Mokha as Saudi-Backed Forces Retreat

Shiite News: Ansar Allah fighters have reportedly made a major advance in Yemen’s Taiz Governorate, entering the strategically important port city of Mokha (Al-Mokha) and taking control of the area. According to recently circulated videos and reports from the ground, Saudi-backed forces were forced to retreat from Mokha following the reported advance.

Mokha Port is located on Yemen’s western coast and holds significant strategic importance because of its proximity to the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, a vital international maritime passage. According to defense analysts cited in the report, Ansar Allah’s reported control of this important port could further strengthen its position around the Bab el-Mandeb, through which a substantial volume of global commercial and maritime traffic passes.
