“Intellectual and Academic Development of Youth Is an Urgent Need of the Time,” Says Allama Sajid Ali Naqvi

Shiite News: Leader of the Shia Ulema Council of Pakistan, Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, has said that the intellectual and academic development of the younger generation, along with strengthening their connection with religious studies, is an urgent need of the present time.

He expressed these views while delivering the presidential address at the closing ceremony of inter-madrasah academic competitions organized by the Pakistan branch of Al-Mustafa International University.

Appreciating the efforts of Al-Mustafa International University to promote academic and religious activities and highlight the abilities of young people, he said that healthy academic competition among religious seminaries can further develop the capabilities of male and female students. During the ceremony, awards and valuable prizes were presented to students who demonstrated outstanding performance in the competitions.

The grand ceremony was attended by scholars, religious seminary graduates, teachers, and hundreds of male and female students, including Al-Mustafa’s representative Maulana Anis al-Hasnain Khan, senior religious scholar Allama Malik Ijaz Hussain Najafi, Allama Iftikhar Naqvi, Allama Shabbir Hasan Maisami, Allama Sheikh Ishaq Najafi, and Allama Anwar Najafi.

The participants appreciated the students’ interest in research and expressed satisfaction with the organizers’ efforts in successfully conducting the academic event.
