Iran Achieved Political and Strategic Gains, Israel Left Isolated: Jordanian Analyst
Iran Achieved Political and Strategic Gains While Israel Emerged Isolated, Says Jordanian Analyst
Shiite News: Jordanian political analyst Areb Al-Rantawi said that the agreement reached between Iran and the United States marks a significant milestone in the post-war balance of power. According to him, Iran emerged from the conflict with greater political and strategic gains than both the United States and Israel.

Al-Rantawi stated that the agreement accommodates most of Iran’s demands and reinforces the principle of phased negotiations. It recognizes Iran’s right to the peaceful use of nuclear energy, while its stockpiles of enriched uranium will remain inside the country.
He further noted that the agreement makes no reference to Iran’s ballistic missile program, while the issue of Lebanon has been linked to broader regional understandings. The deal also includes guarantees for the gradual easing of sanctions imposed on Iran and the phased release of its frozen assets.
According to Al-Rantawi, the United States and Israel failed to achieve their publicly declared objectives, which included regime change in Iran, dismantling its nuclear and missile programs, and weakening its regional allies.
He added that Israeli officials themselves have reportedly acknowledged that had they known the outcome of the war in advance, they would not have initiated the conflict against Iran. In his view, Israel has emerged from the war more isolated and strategically weakened, while America’s Arab allies have also become less confident in Washington’s security guarantees.
