Iranian Navy Has Grown Stronger Through the Blood of Martyrs, Says Admiral Shahram Irani

Commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy, Admiral Shahram Irani, reiterated the Navy’s determination to follow the path of the martyrs while addressing personnel at the Baqiyatullah (AS) Naval Specialized Training Center in Rasht.

He said the enemy would be making a serious mistake if it believed that the martyrdom of Navy personnel would halt the force’s progress. According to Admiral Irani, the Navy will continue moving forward with greater strength and stability, strengthened by the sacrifices of those who lost their lives.

Emphasizing the need to continue the mission of the martyrs, Admiral Shahram Irani said that the fundamental responsibility of the Navy today is to steadfastly follow the path established through their sacrifices and devotion. He expressed his determination to firmly uphold the flag raised by the martyrs through their sacrifice and never allow it to fall.

The Navy commander further said that the enemy has seriously misjudged the spirit of the Iranian people and the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran. He stressed that it is the responsibility of the current generation to preserve the flag entrusted by the martyrs with honor and dignity and pass it on to future generations. He said Iran’s path toward dignity and independence would continue through resistance and steadfastness.

Concluding his remarks, Admiral Irani said that the Iranian Navy remains fully active, operational and powerful. He said Navy personnel are carrying out their duties inspired by the spirit of the martyrs and will spare no effort in defending the homeland and safeguarding the peace and security of the Iranian nation.
