03 April, 2019 00:00

The Russian Air Force carried out a flurry of airstrikes over the western countryside of the Idlib Governorate, today, targeting a number of areas controlled by the Terrorists of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham.

According to a military source in Damascus, the Russian Air Force primarily bombed the Nabi Ayoub mountaintop in the Jabal Al-Zawiya region this morning.

The source said the Russian Air Force targeted Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s communications base; it was later destroyed after the former launched another powerful raid on the site.

The Russian Air Force would also target some of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham’s hideouts in the Jabal Al-Zawiya region; however, no further details were given in regards to these airstrikes.

This latest attack by the Russian Air Force comes in response to the terrorists attacks on the government strongholds of Mhardeh and Al-Suqaylabiyeh in the northern countryside of the Hama Governorate.

The Russian military has a red line when it comes to attacks on Mhardeh and Al-Suqaylabiyeh.
