Urdu Takfiri Account Engaged in Celebrating Saudi Bombing and Calling Yemenis Infidels

Shiite News: On the social media platform X, a takfiri account active in the Urdu language under the name “Ummavi,” which has approximately 8,800 followers, is openly supporting Saudi aggression on Yemen and running a hate campaign against the oppressed Yemeni people. On 29 October, this account, reporting the Saudi coalition’s intense bombardment of Saada, wrote that “hundreds of Houthi terrorist fighters and commanders have been dispatched to hell,” and this post was reposted 40 times.

On 30 October, the same account, advancing the Saudi claim regarding Madinah Munawwarah, spoke of a joint attack by “Iranian and Yemeni terrorists” and declared Yemeni Muslims to be “infidels,” even though the Yemeni armed forces had already rejected this claim as false. On the same day, this account also posted a claim of the arrest of dozens of “terrorists” including 32 Pakistanis in Makkah Mukarramah, which was viewed approximately 20,000 times, but no official source was cited in the post.

This account, in its posts and replies, repeatedly calls Shia Muslims “Majusi,” declares Iran’s religion and teachings to be “false and fabricated,” and taunts Shia citizens of Pakistan by calling them “worshippers of Iran” and referring to a possible American nuclear attack on them, which reflects open sectarian hatred and takfiri thinking.

It is noteworthy that previously as well, social media pages affiliated with the banned Sipah Sahaba and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi have been engaged in character assassination of Shia leaders and hate propaganda using the Yemen issue as a basis. Public circles have demanded from the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency that immediate legal action be taken against such accounts that declare Muslims infidels and spread sectarian hatred.
