Review of 10 Bills for Exiting the NPT Continues in Parliament: Ebrahim Rezaei

Shiite News: Member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Iranian Parliament, Ebrahim Rezaei, has said that at least 10 bills have been registered in Parliament for exiting the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), which are being reviewed, and most representatives are aligned with them and these bills are ready to be presented to the House for voting.

Speaking in a special program on Iranian television, he said that the lesson of the 40-day war is that Iran does not stand on ceremony with anyone regarding its national security, and we have proven that the enemy can be targeted anywhere.

Ebrahim Rezaei said that despite unprecedented cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency, Iran gained no benefit; Iran complied with the nuclear agreement, but the result came in the form of Trump’s withdrawal and then attacks on Iran, and the enemy itself admits that if Iran had been a nuclear power, it would not have been attacked.

He said that maintaining nuclear capability is necessary and the uranium enrichment level should be taken to 90 percent so that if the country decides, this distance is minimal, while Iran’s power will not be handed over to the enemy at the negotiating table.
