Pakistani Shia Muslims continue staging rallies to condemn Israeli aggression on Gaza

On a call from Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, secretary general of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, Shia Muslims continued staging rallies and demonstrations in all parts of Pakistan to protest against the Israeli aggression on Gaza and arrest of innocent Shiites in Karachi, Bhakkar and Islamabad.

Main rallies were staged in Rawalpindi, Lahore, Gilgit-Baltistan, Multan, Karachi, Hyderabad, Quetta and other cities. Carrying banners and placards at main demonstration outside Rawalpindi Press Club, the protestors raised slogans against the Zionist regime of Israel, United Stated and United Nations for war on defenseless people of Gaza. They were also fluttering the Palestinian flags and wore red band around head.

The protestors torched the Zionist flags and U.S. flags to express anger against their imperialistic policies and aggression on Muslims and Arabs. Down with U.S. and Death to Israel were their popular slogans.

Allama Ghulam Asghar Askari, Saeed Rizvi and other officials of the MWM spoke to the protestors. They urged the Muslims around the world to come forward to help Palestinians. They condemned the Muslim rulers’ criminal silence against Zionist aggression.

They said that on the one hand Zionist terrorist army was massacring innocent Palestinians and their proxy in the Muslim world, the takfiri terrorists are massacring innocent Muslims and particularly innocent Shia Muslims in Pakistan. They vowed that Shiites would not desist from support to Palestinians.

They said that innocent Shiites were being arrested without any charge to harass them and force them not to play active role for establishment of unity among Muslims.

They appealed to Muslims to observe International Quds Day on Friday Ramazan 26 to express solidarity with oppressed Palestinians. They vowed that Gaza would be liberated soon.
