Suicide attempt to target Aashura procession in Shikarpur foil

The mourners of Aashura procession in village of (Ex-MNA) Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim Jatoi, Â Taluka Khanpur, District Shikarpur, Sindh was foiled the attempt of suicide bombing in Aashura procession by killing the suicide bomber.

According to Shiite News Correspondent, A suicide bomber Â tried to strike on Aashura procession in village of (Ex-MNA) Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim Jatoi, Â Taluka Khanpur, District Shikarpur, Sindh but the volunteers opened fire on him and foil the conspiracy to target the Aashura procession.

The bomber got injuries, suddenly he blown himself with explosive material and as a result he was killed and injured several policemen including SHO of the police station.

More than 1000 mourners were attending the Aashura procession.â€ Asad Sarfarz, SP Investigation told Shiite News and said that the suicide bomber tried to enter in the Aashura procession but the security officials compelled him to run. â€œThe suicide bomber tried to flee but he was injured in the firing. The blast took place when some police officials reached near the bag thrown by the bomber.â€ Injured police officials were shifted to local hospital for treatment.
