LHC orders recovery of Nasir Shirazi by Monday

The Lahore High Court (LHC) has directed Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore Amin Wains to recover Syed Nasir Abbas Shirazi, the complainant who had filed a case to seek disqualification of Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah over his malicious biased statement against a respectable judge because of his inquiry report in the Model Town massacre.

The directives were passed by the LHC on Friday after an appeal was made in this regard. The court ordered his production in the court on Monday.
The appellant Ali Abbas submitted to the court that his brother Nasir Sherazi had filed an intra-court appeal seeking disqualification of the provincial minister, adding that on orders of Sanaullah and Shahbaz Sharif, four personnel of Elite Police Force kidnapped his brother Nasir Shirazi after he refused to withdraw the case.
Justice Sardar Ahmed Naeem held the hearing of the case in which Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, Rana Sanaullah and the Punjab Police chief have been made respondents.
