Allama Behishti inspects relief activities in rain-stricken areas of Karachi

Allama Aijaz Behishti, central leader of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, visited the rain-stricken areas in district east and Malir of Karachi and inspected relief activities being carried out by his MWM.

Allama Behishti visited Amroha Society, Saadi Town, Jalbani Goth and other localities where the MWM had set up relief camps. Allama Behishti and other officials inquired about the grievances being faced by people. They directed the MWM relief operators to expedite their relief activities.

Thousands of residents of the said areas were hit by the downpour that created flood like situation in their areas. Some of the residents drowned or electrocuted due to rain-related aftermaths.
