Army Chief approves death sentences of 12 terrorists
Shiite News: COAS General Raheel Sharif has confirmed the death sentences of 12 terrorists tried by military courts.
According to ISPR’s press release, militants were given death penalties by military courts for being involved in several serious crimes, including the Bannu jail breakout and attacks on security forces.
Muhammad Arabi, Shawalay, Shaukat Ali, Imadad Ullah, Muhammad Umar, Sabir Shah, Khandan, Anwar Ali, Rafee Ullah, Qari Asif Mehmood, Muhammad Zeeshan and Nasir Khan are the names of terrorists convicted by military courts.
Military courts formed after 21st constitutional amendment have so far convicted several militants involved in terrorist acts with death penalty and many of those have been executed after confirmation by the army chief.
