Allama Sajid Naqvi meets injured, heirs of martyrs of Abbas Town Tragedy

sajid ali naqviAllama Sajid Naqvi, Chief of Shia Ulema Council Pakistan, has reached Karachi on a special visit after Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri of the Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen began his visit to Karachi on Soyem.

He landed in Karachi on Thursday and presided over a meeting of his party to discuss situation arose of Abbas Town Tragedy. He met Allama Talib Johari.

On Friday, Allama Sajid Naqvi, visited Abbas Town where he met the heirs and relatives of the martyrs and the injured of the blast. He assured that all their demands would be met.

He visited hospital and inquired about health of the injured victims. He prayed for their early recovery.

Allama Naqvi spoke at a press conference at the house of martyr Allama Hassan Turabi. He said that the Abbas Town Tragedy was another proof of the failure of the government and the security agencies.

He demanded of the government and judiciary to play their due role to thwart terrorism. He also demanded that an army operation be launched to eliminate takfiri terrorists.

Allama Arif Wahidi, secretary general of Allama Naqvi-led Council also has arrived in Karachi on Thursday.

Allama Nazir Taqvi, Allama Jafar Subhani and other officials of the SUC Sindh chapter and Karachi chapter were also accompanying their central leaders.
