Abu Bakar al Baghdadi not our Caliph: Pakistani Taliban

Shiite News: Pakistani Taliban have rejected Abu Bakar al Baghdadi’s claim of being Muslims’ international leader. Afghan Taliban had already rejected Abu Bakar al Baghdadi’s claim of being a Caliph.

The statement issued by Pakistani Taliban states “Baghdadi is not a Caliph because according to Islam, a Caliph is a person who rules over all Muslims of the world but Baghdadi does not have any such rule, he is only ruling over a specific area and people.

Daesh, which was formed by a group separated from Al-Qaeda, had declared Abu Bakar al Baghdadi as its Caliph and claimed to establish self-proclaimed Caliphate in the whole world.

Some offshoots of Pakistani Taliban had declared their allegiance with Daesh, last year.

Pakistani leaders and rulers deny Daesh’s presence in the country however, after the complete evacuation of US forces from Afghanistan there are threats from Haqqani network and Daesh regarding security conditions of the region.

There are conflicts among Pakistani Taliban because of their belonging to different tribes and this led to the fear that Daesh could take advantage of these conflicts and use some groups for its own objectives.
