4 Violating Vessels Targeted in the Persian Gulf: IRGC

Shiite News: The Navy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has announced that 4 violating vessels engaged in ship-to-ship oil transfer in the north-central part of the Persian Gulf have been targeted simultaneously and are on fire.

According to the statement, these vessels had previously crossed the illegal route as well. After advance warning to the shipping companies that adopted illegal routes after being deceived by the aggressive American military, the IRGC Navy pursued these vessels and targeted them during the oil transfer.

The statement further said that last night, 3 other violating vessels west of the Strait of Hormuz collided with mines, were damaged, caught fire, and stopped. The Navy said that maritime incidents are increasing day by day due to the arrogant American government’s incitement of vessels to pass through the illegal route laden with mines.

The IRGC Navy, praising the resilience of the Iranian people, said that this same resilience is the source of the strength of the country’s armed forces and has left Iran’s enemies in humiliation and despair, and with this broad public support, the naval forces continue to manage and control the Strait of Hormuz. The statement issued a serious warning to the aggressive American military that if this cycle of confrontation continues, it will spread to its aggressive bases in the region.
