Former Shia UC-nazim embraced martyrdom in captivity

A former nazim of a union council of Dera Ismail Khan was martyred after having been tortured during 3-years captivity.

Body of Syed Younus Kazmi was found lying at Jhanbhan Wali Chowk in D I Khan on Wednesday. Reports had it that he was under unconstitutional and illegal custody of an intelligence agency. He was abducted three years ago.

Shia parties and leaders have condemned the brutal murder of Younus Kazmi. They demanded of the Chief Justice of Supreme Court to take suo motu notice of the murder. They also demanded of President, Prime Minister and Chief of Army Staff to order an impartial inquiry into the murder of Mr. Kazmi and bring the culprits involved in the murder to book.
