Hezbollah Warns of Response to Israeli Attacks: “We Will Give an Appropriate Response to Targeting Civilians”

Shiite News: Hezbollah in Lebanon strongly condemned what it described as attacks by the “terrorist Israeli regime” on residential areas in southern Lebanon and the killing of civilians, warning Israel that continued aggression would receive an appropriate response.

In a statement, Hezbollah said that a house on the outskirts of Ansar and a building in Deir al-Zahrani were targeted this morning, resulting in the deaths of 11 people, including women and children, and injuries to 12 others.

Hezbollah attributed what it described as Israeli aggression and continued violations of Lebanon’s sovereignty to the Israeli government and the “terrorist U.S. government,” saying Washington provides Israel with political support and protection.

Hezbollah called on Lebanese authorities to use all available means to stop Israeli attacks and not rely on U.S. mediation, which it said had failed.

The statement appealed to all Lebanese political and social groups to fulfill their responsibilities in protecting the country’s unity, security and independence. It also assured the “Axis of Resistance” that an appropriate response would be given to Israeli aggression.
