The Al-Houl town was liberated after 14 days of heavy clashes between the Kurdish forces and the ISIL terrorists.

Al-Houl town was of strategic importance to the ISIL and it was ISIL’s last bastion in the region.

Syrian Kurdish journalist Shahin Omar said that Al-Houl town was the most important supply route of the ISIL with Iraq to the Syrian province of Raqqa.

‘Al-Houl was an important and strategic town for the ISIL because it has oil wells and for the same reason the terrorists tried hard to prevent the fall of the city, but to no avail,’ Omar added.
