MWM announces support to the long march to be led by Tahir-ul-Qadri

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen leadership has announced on Tuesday they support the January 14 Long March of Allama Tahir ul Qadri.

The announcement came after Allama Amin Shaheed-led delegation of the MWM held talks with Allama Tahir ul Qadri, chief of Tehrik-e-Minhaj ul Quran and Pakistan Awami Tehrik.

The MWM delegation comprises of Allama Shaheedi, Allama Shafqat Shirazi, Allama Abu Zar Mehdavi, Nasir Abbas Shirazi and others.

The long march is to be conducted to press the government and the ruling elite to ensure an end to corruption and bring in electoral reforms before the General Elections to be held in May this year.
