IMG 9507Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, Chief of Tehrik-e-Nifaz Fiqh-e-Jafaria (TNFJ) has urged the government to tighten security in and around annual mourning processions on Chehlum of Imam Hussain (AS).

“We demand deployment of army for security for Chehlum processions and congregations in Karachi, Dera Ismail Khan, Quetta and Parachinar in particular,” he urged while presiding over a meeting of his party’s cabinet. TNFJ chalked out course of action regarding Chehlum congregations and processions.

He said that some terrorist groups were fighting with Shiites and to brand them the sectarian war is not correct. To call it sectarian conflict is itself a sort of terrorism against Shia Muslims. He demanded that the government should lodge protest with foreign countries who were patronizing terrorists in Pakistan.

“Government itself is also responsible for terrorism because they were using it a pretext under the doctrine of necessity,” he said.

He said that Indian government was involved in terrorism in Pakistan and government should not hold cordial relation with the enemy state. He also lashed out at the U.S. for terrorism in Pakistan. He said that General Zia and his remnants were main culprits involved in terrorism.
