Prayer leader of Deoband Masjid arrested for Sexually Harassing a 9 year old

The prayer leader (pesh imam) of a deoband masjid in Jamil Town, an area comes under Shaikhupura police station, city A division, was beaten up by the local people when a 9 year old girl started shouting as a result of being sexually harassed by him. His head, beard and eyebrows were shaved off by the local people and was then handed over to the police where a case has been filed against Mohsin, the culprit and the deoband Molvi.

According to the reports, the 9 year old girl Rehan came to the masjid, along with other children, for religious education. The culprit sent her to the room adjacent to the masjid on the pretext of closing the door, stopped her there by force and then sexually harassed her. People gathered when the girl started shouting and started beating the Molvi. Later on, the girl told that the Molvi asked her to remain silent by luring her for Chips and Biscuits.
