Two suicide bombers arrested in Lahore, suicide jackets recovered

boom blastCrime Investigation Agency (CIA) police arrested two terrorists from Anarkali Bazaar, Lahore and seized four suicide jackets on Thursday.

The takfiri nasbi terrorists were hiding in a shop in the market and were caught after police traced a suspicious call from Miranshah.

The interrogation of the arrested terrorists revealed that they intended to storm into a Muharram 8 procession, coming from Islampura to Anarkali, and detonate the explosives. The Muharram mourning procession (juloos-e-aza) would be brought on Friday.

Each suicide jacket seized from them carried eight to ten kilogrammes of explosive material.
The suicide bombers are reported to be aged 20 to 22.

Police have arrested the owner of the shop where the suspects were hiding and of those around it.
