mubashir luqmanAn anti-Shia programme aired on ARY News channel evoked an instant reaction from Shiites across Pakistan.
Shia leaders and scholars have condemned the owner of the channel and anchorperson Mubashir Luqman for conducting an anti-Shia programme.

“The ARY News channel’s anchor person invited a notorious takfiri terrorist who declare fellow Muslims as non-Muslims and incite Muslims to fight against Muslims,” said Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen.

Renowned scholar Allama Hassan Zafar Naqvi said that Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority should take notice of airing the programme of outlawed terrorist group’s chief.

Mubashir Luqman is a Qadiani and he used to invite Ahmed Ludhianvi the head of banned terrorist group Sipah-e-Sahaba who he has renamed as Ahl-e-Sunat wal Jamaat. Government of Pakistan has banned all sorts of their activities and forbid media to air or publish anything that project them. Even, these outfits cannot continue their activities under new names, according to Pakistani laws.

Ahmed Ludhianvi tried to fan sectarian tension among viewers through Mubashir Luqman’s programme. He made a derogatory and fiery speech against Pakistani Shia Muslims.

Allama Nazir Abbas Taqvi of Shia Ulema Council said that ARY News channel should not be used as a tool of takfiri terrorists. He said that Shiites respect freedom of speech but all sorts of freedoms have limits and subject to laws and moral values too.

Shia leaders have demanded of the owner of ARY News channel to apologise for this programme and fire Mubashir Luqman from his channel. They demanded of the government to take legal action against Mubashir Luqman and Ahmed Ludhianvi forthwith.
