mwm 2Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri, secretary general of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen has said that Shias are not at war with any political party in Pakistan.

He expressed these views while addressing at chehlum of Syed Ali Raza Taqvi, the first Pakistani martyr who sacrificed his life in defence of sanctity of Prophet of Islam.

Allama Jafri said that Shia Muslims are victims of terrorism, targeted attacks and rising anti-Shiism in decision-making powerful quarters of Pakistani ruling establishment and elites.

“I asked from all those political parties who Shiites vote largely in Karachi and in all over Pakistan, what they did so far to defend the legitimate rights of Shia Muslims,” he questioned.

He blamed ruling coalition for the targeted murders of Shia Muslims particularly in Karachi. He asked why concrete foolproof action has not yet been taken to nab and punish the takfiri terrorists.

He said that he pointed out to President Asif Zardari that it is the ruling establishment that put them behind the bars and these are Shias who vote his party to bring them to power. He said he asked from President Zardari why his government failed to arrest and punish the terrorists.

“We feel that Pakistan Peoples Party some of its allies in the ruling coalition have betrayed Shias by not defending legitimate and inalienable rights of Shiites,” he said.

He reiterated that Shia Muslims would not vote these parties in forthcoming elections if they fail to defend Shia Muslims legitimate rights.

He said that martyr Syed Ali Raza Taqvi is a symbol of unity between Shia and Sunni Muslims. He called upon Shia and Sunni to establish unity to defeat the enemies of Islam. He warned the ruling coalition that the united Shia and Sunni would block their entry into power if they fail to punish the terrorists.

He said that the terrorists are stooges of United States and Israel. He said that the terrorists fight proxy war to serve the illegitimate interests of the U.S.

“Shias are peaceful and law-abiding citizens of Pakistan. They never resorted to terrorism. Everybody knows who massacred Shias during Ashura and Chehlum processions and who resorted to burglary after terrorism in Ashura procession, he said.

Allama Aqeel Anjum of Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan represented Sunni Muslims at the chehlum of Ali Raza Taqvi. He said that Sunni Muslims too owned Ali Raza Taqvi. He expressed agreement with the speech of Allama Nasir Abbas Jafri and said that the United States and Israel resorted to targeted murders of Shias and Sunnis through their proxies to divert attention from united protest of Muslims against the U.S.-made anti-Islam sacrilegious movie.

He said that the JUP stands shoulder to shoulder with Shia Muslims in this genuine struggle against the common enemies of Islam. He said that those who declare Shias as infidel are themselves infidels and they want to weaken Muslim Ummah and its unity. He said that terrorism against peaceful Shia and Sunni is the work of agents of enemies of Islam.

The son of martyr Ali Raza Taqvi also spoke at the chehlum congregation. He vowed that he and whole family of Ali Raza Taqvi would continue to accomplish the holy mission of his father. He said that neither his mother nor his brothers were scared of enemies of Islam. He said that everything is to be sacrificed for the sake of Islam and Prophet of Islam.

Allama Sadiq Raza Taqvi, brother of Ali Raza Taqvi, Allama Aftab Haider Jafri, and other Shia and Sunni scholars also spoke. They praised Ali Raza Taqvi for defending the sanctity of Islam and Prophet of Islam. They vowed to continue his mission.
