Shia lawyer Shakir Ali Rizvi martyred in a targeted attack by takfiri terrorists in Lahore

Senior lawyer, Syed Shakir Ali Rizvi, was killed near the Lahore High Court (LHC) in a drive-by shooting here on Friday.

According to police sources, four gunmen of banned Lej riding two motorcycles intercepted Rizvi’s car outside his chamber and opened indiscriminate firing. He was rushed to Ganga Ram Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The brutal attack in broad daylight sent a shockwave to Shiites and lawyer fraternity alike.

According to the sources the deceased had several high-profile cases and he had been receiving death threats over these cases. 

Ghulam Raza Naqvi who is in prison since 13 years, martyred Shakir Ali Rizvi was aslso follwoing his case.

Meanwhile, the Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) announced boycott of lower courts against Rizvi’s murder
