Pakistanis are observing black day today (Friday) to condemn war on Yemen imposed by Saudi-led coalition of U.S.-allied regimes that has angered entire nation.

Call for a black day was given by Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, secretary general of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, in a statement on Thursday.

“Instead of protecting Palestinians and liberating al-Aqsa and al-Quds from Israeli occupation, Arab monarchies led by Saudis have launched another proxy war to advance the Israel-allied U.S. in Middle East and Persian Gulf,” said an observer talking to the Shiite News.

Allama Jafari, however, asked the Pakistani regime to clarify its position. He asked the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to desist from meddling into internal affairs of Yemen and refuse to send armed forces to protect the allies of Israel. He said that nobody violated Saudi sovereignty but it is Saudi regime who dispatched 150,000 soldiers to massacre Yemenis Civilians because of mass support to Yemeni Ansarullah Movement of Houthis.

All Pakistan Shia Action Committee has announced they will stage a demonstration in Karachi after Friday prayers in which Sunni and Shia Muslims would participate. Allama Mirza Yousuf Hussain said that Saudi monarchy is follower of Umayyad despotic tyrant Yazid and Nawaz-led PMLN government of Pakistan toe the line of U.S.-Saudi alliance and that policy has brought huge financial and human losses since Afghan War in 1980s.
