Shiite News Exclusive: Charter of Demands of Heirs of Martyrs of Shikarpur Tragedy

Shiite News has got the draft of charter of demands that the Committee of the Heirs of Shikarpur Tragedy’s Shia martyrs will present to the Sindh Government at the final round of Labbaik Ya Hussain (AS) Long March.

Following are those demands listed in the Committee’s charter of demands.

1.
Sindh Government should call in Pakistan army in aid of civilian administration to launch a military operation on the line of Operation Zarb-e-Azb in Sindh province and in particular in Shikarpur District.
2.
Military Operation should be against the takfiri terrorists, their abettors, masterminds, financiers and their local agents and also against those centres and seminaries that shelter terrorists or encourage them to terrorism.
3.
The injured and the heirs and relatives of martyrs of Masjid-e-Syed-ush-Shohada/Karbala Moalla Imambargah Lakhi Dar Shikarpur should be appointed on government jobs and medical facilities to them for good.
4.
FIR of the suicide bombing during Friday prayer in Masjid-e-Syed-ush-Shohada/Karbala Moalla Imam Bargah should be registered against the nominated takfiri terrorists. And ensure strong and even-handed prosecution for capital punishment to them.
5.
There must be a fair inquiry through Join Interrogation Team (JIT) and heirs of the martyrs should be part of the JIT for Shikarpur Tragedy.
6.
All the foreigners mainly Afghans should be probed and their businesses, seminaries and residences should also be searched so that foreign elements involvement in the ongoing anti-Shia terrorism could be unearthed.
7.
Foolproof security should be provided to all Shia institutions, mosques, Imam Bargahs, religious seminaries and private schools. CCTV Cameras should be installed theer.
8.
Arms licenses should be issued to the relevant people for security of Shia mosques and Imam Bargahs.
9.
All government properties that are under occupation of religious fanatics and banned outfits should be vacated forthwith.
10.
Tableeghi Jamaat’s preachers and volunteers and entire teams should be ordered to inform local police of their entry into the particular city or village with their particulars.
11.
Ghanta Ghar Chowk of Shikarpur should be renamed as Shohda-e-Karbala-e-Moalla Chowk.
12.
Wisal (Urdu) TV channel should be banned because it spreads provocative takfiri and anti-Islam and pro-fanatics ideology of hate and intolerance.
13.
The shops and structures near Masjid/Imam Bargah Lakhi Dar should be razed and a wall be constructed for the safety of worshippers and the owners of razed shops/structures should be compensated by the Government.
14.
Heirs of the Martyrs Committee wants that all these demands should be met and for discussing the course of implementation, Sindh Government ensures meetings of heirs of the martyrs with Sindh Chief Minister, Corps Commander Karachi, DG Rangers Sindh, IG Sindh Police and Chief Secretary Sindh.
