Shia parties begin 3-days mourning on Masjid-e-Imamia Massacre

Leading Shia parties Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen and Shia Ulema Council have announced 3-days mourning in all over Pakistan on the massacre of Shia Muslims during Friday prayers in Masjid-e-Imamia, Hayatabad area of Khyber-Pukhtoonkhwa province’s capita city Peshawar.

 

Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, secretary general of the MWM, and Allama Sajid Naqvi, head of Shia Ulema Council and TJP condemned the brutal suicide bombings in Shia mosque in Hayatabad area of Peshawar.

Shia Ulema Council’s official Allama Mazhar Alvi held federal government responsible for the Shia massacre in the Masjid-e-Imamia and demanded PMLN government at the Centre and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

Shia Muslims would hold mourning congregations and rallies during 3-days mourning. Shiites believe that federal and provincial governments of different parties were responsible for Shia genocide because their inaction against the Wahhabis-allied Deobandi takfiris and their allies despite the fact that many groups claimed responsibility for Shia genocide and despite ban on such outfits for their terrorism.
