MWM welcomes anti-takfiris alignment proposed by MQM in a meeting
Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWN) has welcomed the alignment of anti-takfiris parties of Pakistan that was proposed by MQM leader Dr Farooq Sattar in a meeting with Shia party’s officials at their Karachi office.
Dr Farooq Sattar, an eminent legislator and leader of the MQM, visited the office of MWM and offered condolence on the massacre of Shia namazis (worshippers) in Karbala Moalla Masjid and Imam Bargah of Lakhi Dar area of Shikarpur by Deobandi takfiris’ suicide bombing during Friday prayers.
Those received him at the MWM’s office were Allama Baqar Zaidi, a senior Shia leader belonging to the MWM, Ali Hussain Naqvi, political affairs secretary for Karachi chapter and Maulana Ali Anwar Jafari. They recited fateha and shared condolence.
During exchange of views, Farooq Sattar proposed that MWM and MQM should work together against the terrorists and terrorism. He invited the MWM to form an anti-terrorism alliance.
MWM’s officials welcomed the proposal and invitation. They urged all the anti-terrorist parties to formalize the anti-takfiris and anti-terrorists alliance so that all the true followers of ideology of founding fathers of Pakistan should be aligned on one side and counter the plots of the other side of the alignment that comprised of takfiris and pro-takfiris.
MQM’s officials from Hyderabad and Lahore had also visited the MWM offices in Hyderabad and Lahore. Karachi-based leaders also visited Shikarpur to offer condolence to the heirs and relatives of Shia martyrs of Karbala Moalla Masjid and Imam Bargah.
