Shia parties announce 3-day mourning over Shikarpur Imam Bargah massacre

Ferocious suicidal attack by Wahhabis-allied Deobandi takfiris ASWJ (Sipah-e-Sahaba) in Shia Friday prayer congregation in Shikarpur that left 40 martyred and 50 injured has sparked off instant reaction from Shia parties and leaders who announced Pakistan-wide mourning on Shia genocide in Sindh province.

 

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) announced 3-day mourning. Contacted by a new channel on live news bulletin, Allama Amin Shaheedi, deputy secretary general of the MWM held Sindh government directly responsible for the massacre in Masjid and Imam Bargah Karbala Moalla in Lakhi Dar Shikarpur.

MWM’s Allama Nasir Abbas announced the mourning and condemned the blast in a statement. He said terrorists have held Sindh he province hostage. “This blast is a proof of Sindh government’s failure,” he said.

Shia Ulema Council (SUC) Central President Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi also expressed his grief and sorrow over the incident. Allama Arif Wahidi also was contacted by a news channel where he condemned the massacre of innocent Shia Muslims.

Other Shia groups also announced mourning to express sympathy with heirs and relatives of Shia martyrs.
