Allama Raja Nasir asks govt to end anti Shia discriminatory policy; lest, MWM will begin protest movement.

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Pakistan secretary general expressed these views, while addressing a press conference in Lahore.

While speaking to the media at MWM Punjab chapter secretariat, he condemned unjustifiable cases against azadari.

Furthermore, he also condemned the biased officials who named peaceful Shia Muslims in the IVth schedule.

Particularly, he lamented the inclusion of 14-year-old boy to 80-year-old Shia notable in the 4th schedule of anti-terrorism law.

Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari said that on the one hand terrorists massacre Shia Muslims and on the other hand government also victimize Shia Muslims.

He made clear he remains at the side of his nation if the government goes against the nation.

However, he also made clear that rule of law requires government to obey the Constitution and ensure constitutionally guaranteed rights of Shia citizens.

MWM Pakistan secretary general said that they would protest at federal and provincial governments headquarters if the latter don’t end their anti-Shia biased policy.

Moreover, he demanded immediate withdrawal of all cases against those Shia Muslims who participated in azadari, including Chehlum (Arbaeen)’s.

He also demanded exclusion of Shia Muslims from the IVth schedule of ATA forthwith.

Meanwhile, Shia Ulema Council North Punjab chapter president had also announced protest movement in Punjab against anti Shia govt policy after a similar protest campaign in Sindh province.

Allama Syed Sibtain Sabzwari said, while presiding the meeting at the SUC North Punjab chapter’s camp office in Lahore.

The meeting slammed the biased Punjab government and police for victimizing Shia Muslims.

Particularly, they condemned unlawful cases against Shia mourners which they say amount to usurp legitimate rights of Shia citizens.

Furthermore, they rejected inclusion of innocent Shia notables in the fourth schedule.
