12 more takfiris taken into custody for connection with DAESH in Islamabad

At least 12 takfiris have been rounded up during a sweeping operation in the federal capital Islamabad’s area of Faraz Town, Kachi Abadi and Chatta Bakhtawar early on Saturday.

Personnel of law-enforcement agencies conducted a house to house search operation in Faraz Town and surrounding areas and took into custody 12 takfiris. Weapons were recovered from the custody of the arrested people during the overnight operation.

Shahzad Town police of Islamabad held these takfiris for their connection with takfiri terrorist outfits including outlawed TTP and Daesh (ISIL).Islamabad police have started investigation.
