Iran Foreign Minister meets Pakistan Army Chief and Foreign Minister
Iran Foreign Minister meets Pakistan Army Chief and Foreign Minister during his Pakistan visit today (Wednesday).
Pakistan Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that enhanced Pakistan-Iran cooperation would have positive impact on regional peace and stability.
According to the ISPR, he expressed these views while talking to Iran Foreign Minister Javad Zarif.

On arrival at the Army Headquarters in Rawalpindi, the visiting dignitary was presented guard of honour.
He laid floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada to pay homage to martyrs.
After the ceremony, two high-ranking officials held talks on important issues. They included: the fight against terrorism, strengthening border cooperation, defense and expanding military relations between the two neighboring countries.
During their meeting, Pakistan and Iran’s FMs agreed to make joint efforts for peace and stability in the region, including Afghanistan.
The Foreign Ministers of Pakistan and Iran also discussed better border management, promotion of mutual contacts, and provision of better facilities to the Zaireen.
The two foreign ministers also expressed concern over the tendency of rising Islamophobia in some European countries.
They made it clear that blasphemous attitude in the garb of freedom of expression is not acceptable at all.
Moreover, they exchanged views on bilateral relations, promotion of bilateral cooperation in diverse fields, and the Coronavirus pandemic.
