Thousands attend namaz-e-janaza of martyr Allama Nawaz Irfani

Thousands of Shia Muslims and their Sunni allies attended the funeral of Allama Shaikh Nawaz Irfani who was martyred in a targeted attack on his life in Islamabad by notorious takfiri nasbi terrorists of banned ASWJ/LeJ and Taliban.

Shiite News correspondent reported here that Senior Shia scholar Hujjat Islam Allama Shifa Najafi led the namaz-e-janaza at Imam Bargah Imam Sadiq (AS) in Sector G-9 Islamabad on Thursday.

The mourners were raising slogans of Labbaik Ya Hussain (AS). They were also condemning the terrorists. Shia parties including Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen’s delegation represented their supporters at the funeral.

Coffin of the martyr was being taken to Parachinar for burial because of deep love of the Shiites of Parachinar for their beloved Friday prayer leader Allama Shaikh Nawaz Irfani who originally hailed from Gilgit-Baltistan province.
