Karachi’s District Central police officials arrested four terrorists including those wanted for several murders. Sources said they were also involved in anti-Shia attacks and were planning to hit Imam Bargah.

A Khawaja Ajmer Nagri police team raided the Northern Bypass locality and arrested Muhammad Imran and Jalil Manzoor with two TT pistols.

Imran told the police that he and his accomplices had attacked a police mobile near Shafiq Morr, which had left two cops dead and another injured. Two months later they had targeted a motorcyclist in New Karachi No 5. They had also targeted a man at the Nagan Chowrangi bridge and another man near the Abdullah College.

They said they used to have tea at a shop in Shahnawaz Bhutto Colony and had killed its owner in January because he used to ask them to pay for their tea. Manzoor told the police that he and his accomplices had targeted a trader in Sector 5-C/3 of North Karachi. They had also hurled a grenade at a police mobile near Baba Morr, resulting in wounded cops. He confessed to more targeted killings in District Central as well.
