MWM demands reconstruction of old Imam Bargah in Faisalabad jail

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen has demanded of Punjab Government to order for reconstruction of old Imam Bargah in Faisalabad Jail.

Speaking at a press conference, MWM Punjab chapter’s officials said here that a very old Imam Bargah was demolished in Faisalabad Jail. Biased jail superintendent, Tariq Babar led this operation and due to it, sacred things and Quran were desecrated.

Jail staff and prisoners lodged instant protest against this unjust and provocative act.

MWM’s provincial chapter’s office bearers demanded that the biased jail superintendent Tariq Babar be suspended and Imam Bargah be reconstructed on same place.

The MWM has announced a day of protest in Faisalabad on Friday against desecration of Quran and Imam Bargah.
