Allama Sajid Naqvi vows to defeat takfiris by unity among Muslims

Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, Chief of Shia Ulema Council, has said that Imam Hussain (AS)’s steadfastness and his dynamic leadership on the Ashura day in particular, was a source of inspiration for all human beings, let alone Muslims.

“The ideology of takfiri fanatics and terrorists have no appeal and Muslims regard Imam Hussain in high esteem as impeccable leader hence we can defeat takfiris by unity among Muslims,” he said at the concluding session Jafaria Students Convention at Imam Bargah Qasr-e-Raza (AS) Faisalabad.

He reiterated his demand that operation be launched to eliminate the takfiri nasbi terrorists of banned outfits. He said that delay in operation was tantamount to encourage and embolden them to continue Shia genocide in Pakistan.

“In view of tense situation on Pakistan-India border, I appeal to the Pakistani polity to pursue the policy of reconciliation to sort out the differences and desist from confrontational politics,” he exhorted.

Allama Naqvi also stressed that the government should adopt special measures giving a serious response to the Indian aggressive attacks inside Pakistani territory.
