MWM stages rally against sacrilege of Imam Bargah in Rawalpindi
Shia Muslims staged a rally on a call from Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen on Monday to protest against takfiri terrorists who attacked sacred Imam Bargah-e-Shaheedan-e-Karbala Koocha-e-Hussainia also known as Tyraan Wali Imam Bargah in Rawalpindi and burnt the Holy Quran and Flag attributed to Hazrat Abbas Alamdar (AS). Imam Bargah was also set on fire.
The protestors were raising slogans against the Punjab administration and the DCO Rawalpindi Munir Sajid for their failure to protect peaceful law abiding Shia Muslims in Rawalpindi. They were carrying banners and placards.
“Punjab government is directly involved in attack on and arson in Tyraan Wali Imam Bargah in Rawalpindi because she patronizes takfiri nasbi terrorists and lack of police action against the terrorists also proved it,” said Mubashir Hassan, official of the MW speaking to the protestors at Numaish Chowrangi.
He demanded that FIR for the blasphemy, murder, riot and terrorism should be registered against Punjab chief minister and DCO Sajid of Rawalpindi because Holy Quran was burnt, Imam Bargah and Alam Pak were set on fire and custodian of Imam Bargah was burnt alive and sanctity of Islam was violated during attack on said Imam Bargah.
“Sunni and Shia Muslims are brothers of each other and they are united. They know the fact that takfiri nasbi fanatics and terrorists have nothing to do with Islam. Sunni and Shia Muslims have vowed that they will rid Pakistan of takfiris and nasbis at all cost,” he asserted.
