Shia Ulema Council: Killing of Mufti Amanullah a takfiri plot

Shia Ulema Council has termed the killing of Mufti Amanullah a takfiri plot aimed at triggering sectarian violence and terrorism.

In a statement issued from the SUC head office, Shia Ulema Council expressed surprise that Yazidi takfiri nasbi terrorist outfit tried to spark-off sectarian violence a month before Moharram like it did in the past.

The statement said that takfiri terrorist group itself killed Mufti Amanullah to implement the said plot. It said that the takfiris attacked Shia Muslims, their properties and sacred places such as Imam Bargah in the garb of protest while no security agency stopped them, let alone punishing them. It asked if another deep-rooted machination was cooked-up (to repeat Ashura Pindi-like tragedy).

The SUC statement appealed to people to remain calm and don’t lend ears to rumours and speculations and remain in touch the Council’s head office.
