The Imam of friday prayer in Qatif, Sheikh Abdul Karim al-Hubail, said that the people of Bahrain, are the people of Qatif .. they are our people and our brothers, our neighbors and our friends, we are from them and they are from us.According to the Shiite News,Saudi Shia scholar, Sheikh Abdul Karim al-Hubail, blasts Bahrain governmentâ€™s clampdown on unarmed Â protesters promising that â€œ the Bahraini people will win definitely at the end of the day.â€
The Imam of friday prayer in Qatif said that the people of Bahrain, are the people of Qatif .. they are our people and our brothers, our neighbors and our friends, we are from them and they are from us.
â€œThe demands of Bahraini people are in conformity with democratic principles and their victory is eminent,â€ Sheikh Abdul Karim al-Hubail, Saudi Kingdomâ€™s Qateef city Imam said.
Al-Hubail stressed that Bahrain events and the crimes committed against its people will hurt freedom-seekers and will never be forgotten.
He said that Bahraini people are seeking the basic rights envisaged by the United Nations and human right organizations, adding that â€œBahrainis are our brothers and neighborsâ€.
Al-Hubail condemned attacks on peaceful protests in Manama and said â€œthe remarks and stances taken by Egyptian Islamic theologian Youssef Al-Qarzawi and the Arab League in support of crushing public protests are astonishing.â€
He praised the high-turnout of Bahraini people in protests, saying that more than Û¶Û° pc of Bahrain nationals have attended the anti-government demonstrations.
In another development, al-Hubail also called on Saudi Kingdom to free the prisoners who are held for more than sixteen years immediately.Back to top button
Bahraini security forces have been brutally suppressing anti-government protesters. So far, at least 24 people have been martyred, almost 40 have gone missing, 250 have been arrested Â and about 1,000 others have been injured.
The violence against protesters escalated when Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Qatar dispatched their armed forces to the country upon Manama’s request to help with the crackdown on peaceful protesters.
