What shocking mysteries are surrounding Saud al-Faisal’s sudden death?

Succumbing to the sorrow of shame, the Saudi foreign minister died from the horror of Wikileaks revelations.

Following the untimely demise of former Saudi king Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, a set of odd and sometimes bizarre accidents occur in the kingdom of one thousand and one Arabian nights, ranging from thorough ministerial reshuffles to the skyrocketing ascension of all but young, ambitious though inept princes; let alone the enormous changes in matters of trifling importance within the Saudi royal court or country’s diplomatic apparatus.

Political commentators have been wildly speculating about the possible secret reasons behind Saud al-Faisal’s impulsive dismissal from his post; some believe King Abdullah’s half-brother newly crowned successor— Salman bin Abdulaziz, opted for a different foreign policy trajectory and this surly alienated the former minster and others refer to the unusual public homage which Saud al-Faisal paid for Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, calling him Imam[Leader] Khamenei ,drawing the ire of Saudi monarch , albeit other Saudi experts suggest that al-Faisal was a doddering old man, virtually incapable of carrying out his tasks like the incumbent king Salman who is battling with both Alzheimer’s and dementia.

Moreover, Saud al-Faisal’s disapproval regarding the surprise shift in the order of succession to the throne of Saudi Arabia, hasty appointment of Mohammad bin Salman Al Saud for the ministry of defense and the consequential war on Yemen were also contributed to al-Faisal’s abrupt disappearance form the political arena.
But beneath the solemnities of politics and media’s cacophony, lurks the true reason for Saud al-Faisal’s destructive crash, the reason which was kept secret for almost three months from media and public domain; one of Saud al-Faisal’s distraught undersecretaries passed 500,000 classified Top-Secret cables to WikiLeaks whistleblower website, taking the revenge for the insult he received by King’s flamboyant son , minister of defense and strong candidate for the throne Mohammad bin Salman Al Saud , and thus Saud al-Faisal’s resignation was a mere disguise for the intelligence debacle he endured during his tenure.

What is happening in Saudi Arabia? Are we indeed witnessing the de facto liquidation of Saudi King’s most serious rivals? One day the disgruntled military commander was sacked due to his sharp criticism for the ongoing campaign against the Yemeni people and the other day the minister killed for the scandal caused by Wikileaks revelations!!!

Unanswered questions shroud the death or possible murder of Saudi Arabia’s long-time foreign minister; the questions if answered could shake the very foundations of al-Saud dynasty.
