Russian President offered condolences to his Syrian counterpart Basahar Assad on martyrs of the terrorist blasts which hit Tartous and Jableh cities on Monday.
Putin ” offered the sincerest terms of solidarity and sympathy with families of the victims, hoping quick recovery for the wounded,” SANA news agency cited a cable sent by Putin to Assad.
“This tragedy indicates, once again, the inhuman and brutal feature of the terrorist groups which launched the bloody war against the Syrian people,” Putin said in the cable.
He reiterated Moscow’s readiness to continue cooperation with the Syrian partners against the terrorist threat, stressing that criminals whose hands are stained with the blood of innocents would not escape punishment.
Tartous and Jableh witnessed terrorist attacks on Monday that claimed the lives of tens of citizens and wounded many others.
