Lebanese-Turkish Expanded Meeting Starts in Ankara

The expanded work meeting between Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and Lebanese Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, began a while ago at the presidential palace in Ankara, with the participation of the Turkish and Lebanese ministerial delegations.

President Erdogan and Premier Mikati addressed the conferees at the beginning of the meeting, then the Turkish and Lebanese ministers presented areas of bilateral cooperation.

Premier Mikati and the accompanying Lebanese delegation have arrived at the presidential palace in Ankara, where a closed meeting was held between President Erdogan and Premier Mikati, to be followed by an expanded meeting in the presence of the Lebanese and Turkish delegations.

A joint press conference was held afterwards by President Erdogan and Premier Mikati.

Meanwhile, the Lebanese accompanying ministers held bilateral meetings with their Turkish counterparts in conference rooms at the presidential palace.
