Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah offered condolences over demise of Head of the Supreme Shiite Council Sheikh Abdul Amir Qabalan.
In a statement released by Hezbollah media Relations Office, Sayyed Nasrallah praised Sheikh Qabalan as a great defender of Palestinian cause and the Resistance.
“Head of the Supreme Shiite Council Sheikh Abdul Amir Qabalan has left today for his eternal residence after he spent his life in Daawa (calling for Allah), Jihad and serving poor and oppressed people,” Sayyed Nasrallah said.
Sheikh Qabalan worked for unity between Shiaa, Muslims and national powers, Sayyed Nasrallah added.
“He was a great defender of the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of Palestinian people and Resistance,” the Hezbollah S.G. said.
Sayyed Nasrallah praised Sheikh Qabalan as a keen supporter of the Resistance in Lebanon.
