Grand Ayatollah Hussein Noori Hamedani, Iranian Shia jurisprudent met with Hojjat-ol-Islam Seyyed Ammar Hakim, Chairman of Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, and warned that efforts to spread Shia-phobia is to spread disunity among Muslim communities, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He denounced anti-Islamic plots and said world arrogant powers pursue developing disunity among Muslims through Islamophobia, Shia-phobia and Arab-phobia.

“These plots are inspired by the Zionists and Muslims from all Islamic schools of thought have to be vigilant against the intrigues.” he said.

The scholar also stressed the importance for an awareness of the time and called all Iraqi political and religious groups to boost their unity.

Prominent jurisprudent also said that the victory of people in Gaza, Bahrain, Lebanon and other Muslim countries as well as the resistance of the Syrian nation is inspired by the Islamic Revolution of Iran.

Ayatollah Noori Hamedani praised late Imam Khomeini (RA) as a heraler of world liberal nations and highlighted the same features in the Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

Iranian top cleric in this meeting referred to spiritual, religious and cultural commonalities of Iran and Iraq.
