Iraq: Over 13 ISIL Terrorists Killed in Tikrit

The Iraqi army made gains in its fight against the ISIL Takfiri group in Salahuddin province, leaving at least 13 terrorists dead, a military source said.

A senior Iraqi official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the army troops clashed with the terrorists in Albo Ajel village in Tikrit and claimed the lives of more than 13 terrorists.

The source added that a number of vehicles belonging to the Takfiri group were also targeted during the clashes.

The ISIL Takfiri terrorists currently control a shrinking part of Syria and Iraq. They have threatened all communities, including Shiites, Sunnis, Kurds, Christians, Ezadi Kurds and others, as they continue their atrocities in Iraq.

Senior Iraqi officials have blamed Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and some Persian Gulf Arab states for the growing terrorism in their country.

The ISIL has links with Saudi intelligence and is believed to be indirectly supported by the Israeli regime.
