Shiite News: Founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan has rejected speculation regarding a change of opposition leaders in the Senate and the National Assembly. According to him, Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari will remain the opposition leader in the Senate and Mahmood Khan Achakzai in the National Assembly.

PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja confirmed this position after Barrister Salman Safdar’s meeting with Imran Khan, and said that Imran Khan is fully aware of the party’s internal matters, therefore talk of changing the two leaders is merely speculation.

According to PTI sources, on Wednesday Imran Khan conveyed a message through Barrister Salman Safdar that he has full confidence in Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari and Mahmood Khan Achakzai, and both will remain in their positions.

Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari has said previously that he did not become opposition leader out of eagerness, and if this responsibility is taken back, he will offer thanksgiving prayers. He is the Vice Chairman of Tehreek-e-Tahaffuz-e-Aayin Pakistan and the head of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Pakistan.
