Two more Shia Muslims return homes after enforced disappearance
After having suffered hardships during long but illegal and undeclared detention, two more Shia Muslims have returned homes in Karachi and Punjab, respectively.
A Karachi-based businessman was illegally taken into undeclared custody in August last year. Another Shia notable was whisked away in Punjab long ago.
These two Shia Muslims have been released and reached their homes. They are silent and don’t share details of their sufferings during detention and it is believed they were threatened not to disclose what happened to them.
It is relevant to add here that Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, secretary general, Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen had written a letter to the Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa. He requested him to play his role in release of innocent Shia Muslims who were detained illegally.
