Majlis Wahdat ul Muslimeen (MWM) Deputy Secretary General District Rawalpindi Aga Sajid Shirazi along with five others are missing since they suffered with an incident while on their way to Gilgit.

A search operation is underway for the past three days, which remains unfruitful.

Witnesses have claimed that the car underwent land-sliding to fall into the river, according to shiitenews. Due to the depth of the river the remains of the car are yet to be found.

News has received that among the missing, two have been rescued while search operation continues.

Rescue operation results might go in vain due to the lack of state of the art machinery and scuba divers in the region.

MWM has requested that local administration to aggrandize and assist in looking for their leader Aga Shiraz and other missing persons.

It is worth mentioning that the incident took place at an extremely dangerous turn. Previously a number of incidents have been reported at the same spot, but the government is yet to take notice of the situation and do the needful. Should they raise a wall with the running boundaries and cut the mountain a bit, incidents as such can be averted.
