ISIL Attacks Bashiqa Military Base North of Mosul
Military sources revealed that ISIL attacked Bashiqa military base North of Mosul, adding that the Turkish troops that were stationed in the base responded to the attack.
The sources said in a statement, “this morning, ISIL tried to attack Bashiqa military base North of Iraq,” pointing out that, “the Turkish troops that were stationed in the base responded to the attack,” Iraqi News reported.
The statement added, “the Turkish army was also able to hit ISIL targets near the Turkish borders.”
The clash with the so-called ISIL comes after a suspected member of the terrorist gangs blew himself up on Istanbul’s popular street on Saturday, killing four people and wounding dozens more.
